Belgreen Fieldhouse is almost finished!
The new fieldhouse at Belgreen High School is almost complete, and we’re so proud to see it coming together. This project has been a meaningful one for our team at Butler Construction, and we can’t wait for the Belgreen community to enjoy it.
The new facility will be a huge upgrade for the school’s athletes and coaches, giving them a space that’s both functional and comfortable.
Inside, the fieldhouse will feature home and visitor locker rooms with bathrooms and showers, offices for the coaching staff, an equipment room, and a players’ lounge for the team to relax and prepare for games. It’s been exciting to watch this project take shape, and we’re looking forward to seeing it filled with players, coaches, and fans soon. This new space will be a place where hard work, teamwork, and school pride come together under one roof.

Stoner Park is ready for you!
We’re proud to announce the completion of the brand-new Stoner Park Outdoor Skating Rink in Huntsville, Alabama. This beautiful open-air facility features a 19,000-square-foot covered pavilion with an 85-by-185-foot skating surface, transforming what was once an unused area into one of Huntsville’s most vibrant new recreation spaces.
Our team worked closely with city leaders and community members to bring their vision to life, ensuring the space was designed specifically for roller skating while maintaining the flexibility for other community events and gatherings. From the first pour of concrete to the final finishing touches, this build was all about creating a lasting impact for North Huntsville. We’re proud to have played a part in building a space where families, friends, and neighbors can come together to enjoy outdoor fun and active living year-round. The Stoner Park Skating Rink stands as a testament to our commitment to quality craftsmanship and community-centered projects that make a difference.

The W.C. Handy Recreational Center Is Completely Renovated!
Butler Construction is proud to announce the completion of our latest renovation project at the W.C. Handy Recreation Center. This transformation focused on enhancing the center’s ability to serve the community by converting the outdated locker room area into modern classrooms and computer labs. These new spaces are designed to support educational programming, offering a brighter future for the youth of the community.
In addition to the new learning facilities, we added a brand-new, fully equipped kitchen and carried out a full-scale renovation of the entire building. From fresh interior finishes to updated infrastructure, every detail was carefully considered to ensure the center is both functional and welcoming. We’re honored to have played a role in upgrading this communities space for learning, gathering, and growth.

The River Heritage Maintenance Building is Finished!
The River Heritage Maintenance Building is a well-crafted facility that provides essential support to the park department. Designed for both efficiency and visual appeal, it serves as a central hub where maintenance operations are coordinated, equipment is stored, and staff can effectively manage the upkeep of the park.
The building provides ample space for equipment storage, repairs, and administrative work, ensuring park employees have everything they need to maintain the grounds effectively. Its efficient design supports daily operations, helping staff keep the park in excellent condition for the community to enjoy.

Progress made at Stoner Park Skate Center!
Attention, Huntsville! Get ready for the exciting arrival of the Stoner Park Skate Center. This impressive outdoor skating rink will cover an expansive 21,736 square feet, providing plenty of room for skaters of all ages and skill levels. To enhance the experience, the rink will be housed under a beautifully designed building, offering shelter and protection from the elements.
Inside the facility, visitors will find convenient restrooms, ensuring a comfortable visit. The rink itself will be built with a high-quality recreational sports surfacing, perfect for smooth skating and long-lasting durability. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or just looking to enjoy a fun day outdoors, the Stoner Park Skate Center will offer a fantastic space for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out for its opening!

Belgreen High Schools Fieldhouse is in the dry!
Belgreen High School, located in Russellville, AL, is on the brink of an exciting new development that will significantly benefit its athletic programs. Butler Construction has recently broken ground on a state-of-the-art field house. Spanning 2,480 square feet, the new building will feature a variety of key amenities designed to enhance the overall experience for both players and coaches.
The field house will include two spacious locker rooms, each equipped with its own bathrooms and showers, ensuring the players have access to modern, functional facilities. As well as a coaches' office and a players' lounge that will offer a productive workspace for team strategy and planning, while the players' lounge will serve as a comfortable area for athletes to unwind and socialize. Additionally, the facility will house an equipment room, keeping all football gear neatly organized and easily accessible.
This new field house will be a game-changer for the Belgreen High School football team, providing them with a dedicated space to prepare for practices and games. The addition of this facility reflects the community’s commitment to supporting its students and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed. With this new building, the football team will be better equipped to train, collaborate, and perform at their best, marking a significant milestone for the school and its athletic program.

The East Franklin Gymnasium is ready for tip-off!
Butler Construction proudly completed a new gymnasium for East Franklin Junior High this past October, enabling the school to host its first home basketball game of the season. The new facility spans 10,684 square feet and includes a spacious concession area, a basketball court, and bleachers with a seating capacity of up to 244 people. In addition to the new gym, Butler Construction also renovated the school's existing gym, which is connected to the new building. The updated facilities feature new boys' and girls' locker rooms, a coaches' office, a classroom with space for two future classrooms, and newly renovated boys' and girls' restrooms, providing the school with a modern, functional space for both athletics and education.
East Franklin Junior High School, located in Phil Campbell, AL, is a public school that serves 237 students from pre-K through 9th grade. The school is proud to offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including competitive sports teams for both boys and girls basketball, as well as cheerleading. These teams will have the opportunity to practice and compete in the school's new gymnasium, which provides a modern, state-of-the-art facility for athletic events and school spirit. The school's commitment to both academics and athletics helps foster a well-rounded educational experience for its students.
